Lightscape, a UK band less than a year old, has just released their second EP of their entire career. Although “For Present, For Past” is somewhat short - only 3 songs long - each song showcases the band’s talents with powerful vocals and energetic verses. The songs blend seamlessly between styles, with the first track “Blinded By the Lights” possessing riffs and fills common to a more hardcore sound; into the second song, “Running,” which was more upbeat and electric; finishing off with the final song, “You Leave Me Here,” with a solemn message of heartbreak. While this band is young, they possess the confidence to release a great EP, and they are sure to progress even further in the future.
