Sublime With Rome are currently gearing up to release a brand new album, Blessings, on April 26th via 5 Music/RED MUSIC. The trio have been dropping new music prior to the release of the album, with tracks like “Wicked Heart” and “Spiderweb”, and they’ve now decided to drop a third single, entitled “Blackout”. The songs were produced by Rob Cavallo and Andrew Goldstein.

In a press release, vocalist Rome Ramirez stated the following surrounding the making of “Blackout”:

“’Blackout’ is one of my favorite songs off the album and it was an honor to work with Rob Cavallo on it. Eric’s bass synth’s make the whole song feel like it’s beating like a heart. Lyrically, the song is about stacking so many expectations on yourself and ultimately feeling overwhelmed and pushed to a dangerous point. This album is fire, best music we ever made.”

To add to the excitement of the new album, they’ve got a massive summer headlining tour on the horizon, which is set to kick off on June 1st and take them all the way through August. You can hear “Blackout” below, and you can click here to find out more regarding their upcoming tour dates.
