Progressive metal quartet Valence have unveiled a brand new single, “Walrus”, from their upcoming studio album Cognitive Dissidents, which is set to be released this Friday, April 12th, 2019. This track is thus far the third song to be revealed from the album (you can check out the previous two songs below). Guitarist Geoffrey Schaefer states the following via press release about the new song:

'Walrus' is one of the more eclectic songs on Cognitive Dissidents that really highlights the way we incorporate jam band influences in with the progressive metal. You can really hear this about two and a half minutes into the song, as well as with the section that comes about five minutes in. It's also one of the longer songs on the album, but one that we don't think feels long."
