Last week, alt-metal act Spiritbox unveiled their newest song “Constance”, as well as an emotional and heartfelt video to go along with it. The track was released via Rise Records.

The song itself touches on the topic of dementia and losing a loved one, and it’s been resonating heavily with many across the Internet. “Constance” was dedicated to vocalist Courtney LaPlante’s grandmother Phyllis, and Constance, the grandmother of this video’s director, Dylan Hryciuk (who is currently in the later stage of dementia, according to an article from Loudwire.)

Spiritbox are currently at work on their debut album, which is set to be released via Rise Records sometime in 2021. The band is comprised of bassist Bill Crook, and husband-wife duo Michael Stringer (guitar) and Courtney LaPlante (vocals), both of whom were members in iwrestledabearonce.
