Sep 22 Angels & Airwaves Release New Song, "Timebomb"

Only a few days before the release of their new album, Lifeforms, Angels & Airwaves have unveiled a brand new track from the album titled “Timebomb”. Lifeforms is set to be released this Friday, September 24th via Rise Records/BMG.

In a press release announcing the new song, vocalist/guitarist Tom DeLonge stated the following:

“’Timebomb’ is a special song to me because it represents the emotional equivalent of an armed device about to blow. I think everyone can relate to the pressure of life bearing down on a young teenage heart.”

In regards to the album, he continued:

“Of LIFEFORMS, he said “It’s taken me a long time to present my art in the way I envisioned over a decade ago. ‘LIFEFORMS’ is the first part of what I saw could be possible then.”

The band are currently gearing up for a U.S. tour in support of the album, set to kick off on September 29th. The second night of the tour will find the band in San Francisco, CA at The Warfield. (Tickets can be found here).
