Blink-182 Return with Tom DeLonge, Announce New Music and Tour Dates

In an exciting turn of events, Blink-182 has announced that they will be releasing new music and heading out on tour with founding guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge. The lineup of DeLonge, bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Travis Barker have reunited for the first time in nearly ten years, and they’ll be releasing a new song, “Edging”, this Friday.

The band has also announced that they will be embarking on a lengthy world tour beginning on March 11th in Tijuana, MX. The newly reunited lineup with make two Northern California stops next summer: June 22nd in San Jose, CA and June 23rd in Sacramento, CA. Pre-sale begins tomorrow, with tickets going on sale to the general public next Monday. Support will be provided on select dates by Turnstile, Rise Against, The Story So Far and Wallows.

After initially reuniting in 2009 after an extended hiatus, Blink-182 toured the world and released a full-length album, Neighborhoods, and an EP titled Dogs Eating Dogs. DeLonge exited the band indefinitely in around 2014, with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba joining the band and replacing DeLonge for several years. With Skiba, the band released two full-length albums: 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine.
