Riot Fest Starts This Friday. Here's What You Need To Know Before Attending.

On Friday afternoon, Riot Fest will kick off its annual festivities in Douglass Park in Chicago, IL, with a lineup that is set to feature My Chemical Romance, The Original Misfits, Nine Inch Nails, Jimmy Eat World, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, along with reunion sets from artists like Sunny Day Real Estate, Yellowcard, The Academy Is…, and so many others.

Heading into any festival can be overwhelming, so we want to make sure that you have everything you need to know before you head to the festival.

Where is Riot Fest being held this year?

The festival will take place in Douglass Park. The best way to get there is by public transit, bicycle, or ride share, but there are some limited parking options available. The entrance to the festival is located at the intersection of W. Ogden Ave and S. Sacramento Dr. in Chicago, IL. You can find a detailed map of the grounds below, and you can click here for more information on transportation.

What can you bring or not bring into the festival?

A full list of items that are allowed/not allowed into the festival grounds can be found here. Make sure you’re staying hydrated all day, re-applying sunscreen, and have an extra cell phone charger on hand.

What time is my favorite band playing?

You can find the complete schedule for Riot Fest here (and you can even get a custom Riot Fest beer with the lineup printed on it!)

I waited until the last minute to purchase tickets. Are there still tickets available?

If there are any tickets available for Riot Fest or the after-shows taking place, you can find them here.

Finally: Am I allowed to bring in Eve 6, OR anyone that defends Eve 6 on Twitter?

Am I allowed to bring in John Stamos?

See you at Riot Fest.
