My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, More Announced For When We Were Young 2024

The annual When We Were Young Festival has announced the lineup for its 2024 edition, and it is proving to be the biggest and most elaborate edition of the festival yet. My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy are set to headline this year’s festival, with My Chemical Romance slated to perform their massively successful album The Black Parade from start to finish. This will be the first time that the band will be performing The Black Parade in its entirety since October 7th, 2007 in Mexico City, Mexico (said performance can be seen on the 2008 concert DVD The Black Parade Is Dead!, which chronicled the band’s concluding date of their Black Parade world tour.

In fact, the theme of this year’s When We Were Young Fest is “Album Playthrough”, with nearly every band on this year’s lineup playing a classic album from their discography from start to finish. Notable additions to the festival lineup include reunion performances from Chiodos (playing All’s Well That Ends Well in its entirety), Cobra Starship (playing Viva La Cobra!), Saosin (performing their self-titled record with vocalist Cove Reber), Tonight Alive (performing The Other Side), Hey Monday (performing Hold On Tight) and so many more.

The festival will take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Presale begins tomorrow, Friday, November 17th at 10 AM PST. You can view the full lineup below, and click here for more information.
